The Sound of Music - May 01 - May 09, 2026

Cape Hatteras Secondary School

 Acknowledgements

As always, we are blown away by the community support for these students and the magic they bring to life on stage every time the curtain opens. To everyone who comes out to our shows, buys an ad in our playbill, offers us props, feeds us, shares our posts and talks about our productions; you are helping this program grow and we could not be more thankful. A special thank you to parents and families who support these students' dreams and ensures they get to and from long-rehearsal days. We could not do it without you!

In the 4 seasons since the drama club has been brought back to CHSS, your support has allowed us to travel to many places, through many stories, thanks to the magic of live theater. We are so excited to bring the famous story of the von Trapp family to our stage. A beloved story, a classic that most people know and love. We can't wait for you to experience this production, we are very proud of the hard work of everyone involved.

There are too many people that helped make this show happen to thank them all, but there are a few people specifically we would like to show our appreciation to:

Thank you to the administration, especially Dr. Rooks; the custodial staff and faculty at Cape Hatteras Secondary School for your continued support of the theater program.

Again, it takes a village, and we could not be more thankful for the village we have surrounding us.
