Have faith. Such a simple little phrase, but so many possibilities. In this show we are meant to laugh at Joe Benjamin's plight because that's how it's presented to us, but it's a show that has a deep message that's disguised as a joke. Have faith. How many would keep to our faith if we were in a similar situation? Lose your job, lose your home, lose your health and your family walks out on you, I know I'd have a moment of weakness and ask God why. Why me, why do this to me? And it's all because God loves Joe so much? Talk about a backhanded compliment. And never once did Joe waiver in his conviction, yes he got mad, but he never lost faith. And in the end, after losing everything, it actually turns out better for him. The adversity that Joe and his family faced forced a change for the better in their lives. And this is the message for us, Have Faith, no matter how bad things seem now it can turn out for the better. How many people faced with a medical crisis turn their lives around and start living better? How about when faced with losing your job, some people go back to college so that they can find a better job. It's so easy to loose faith in God and in yourself in these situations and instead of keeping positive and sticking to their faith they just give up. Have faith, things can improve, things can get better but only if we let it happen.  When people give up they also are giving up on the possibility that things can change. We are ALL God's favorite and we are ALL put to the test...how well will you do?
