As always, I want to thank Ruth Gardiner & Becca Ansbach for their tireless work in creating an awesome set for us. I barely had the show's title out of my mouth, and Ruth was on this stage making the set come to life. I also need to thank Erika Cassell for always coming through for me in any way I need. I am blessed to have her input and assistance in every theatre project I am involved in--here or with the TADC. I want to thank her for her assistance with this production.

Erika & Ruth, happy 15th production together!

I also want to thank Leona Rega & Kyle Whitley for helping to make this crazy idea a reality for us. When the seniors and I realized that our high school musical, Newsies, was going to have to be cancelled due to COVID-19, we were all devastated. Not only were those months of hard work and preparation all for naught, but the seniors felt robbed of their chance to perform for the community one last time and take their final bows. There would be no closure for them or myself. I could not let a cancelled show be their final theatre memory, so I proposed the idea to do a senior show to Leona, and she immediately agreed that we could make this happen at the Tamaqua Community Arts Center. Although we had little time, Leona, Kyle, Ruth, Erika, the seniors, and I jumped right in to learning this show and doing what we needed to do to put it on the stage in only a few short weeks. I am so proud of everyone involved for making this a reality. While this show certainly does not make up for the loss of Newsies, it has softened the disappointment and has allowed us to say goodbye on our own terms. Almost, Maine will always be a special memory for us now--certainly not expected, but very much needed. Thank you to all of our audience members for joining us to support our production and to say goodbye to these very special seniors.

With gratitute to you all- Adriane Drum
