The Little Red Hen is a lively and heartwarming retelling of the classic tale, performed by our delightful Young Performers. As the Little Red Hen plants, harvests, and bakes, her friends refuse to help—until it’s time to eat!

With catchy songs, silly moments, and a sweet lesson about teamwork,

this joyful show reminds us that helping out makes all the difference.

DIRECTOR'S NOTE

I joined Centerstage mid-semester, stepping in for another teacher working with the Young Performers. From day one, I was welcomed with open arms into an organization known for its rich history of care and dedication.

As a lifelong lover of theatre and storytelling, it was a joy to work with such imaginative and expressive children—natural-born storytellers with vivid, poignant ideas. Through rehearsals, we developed our etiquette and performance skills.

More importantly, we discovered a powerful life lesson woven into this musical:

that hard work and helping others lead to the most rewarding outcomes.

Without further ado, we proudly present our rendition of The Little Red Hen.
