NOTES FROM THE DIRECTOR

I am extremely proud of this first World Premiere production in English of I AM FRIDA KAHLO; especially honored of the quality of the cast, orchestra, stage crew and all the people who made this production incredibly successful. A successful production does not depend on a good script or an outstanding theatrical direction, but on all the talent and the team that supports this production. I am truly proud of the dedication and cooperation, the mutual respect, the high level of commitment, and the teamwork that everyone has shown on this production.

I take this opportunity to thank all my friends, fellow artists, and people I met along the way who without thinking offered their talent without any monetary compensation for the realization of this performance.

Finally, thanks to the President and Superintendent of Cerritos College, Dr. José Fierro, and to the educational staff in general for believing in me and above all for placing their trust so that I could carry out this staging.
