Notes from the Director
Holmes and Watson presents a director with more than the normal share of challenges. It is presented in a continuous series of scenes, with no intermission or break of any kind. Further, those scenes shift in both time and place with lighting and stage position shifting along with them. Add to this the challenges of restarting CVLT’s performance schedule after an almost 2-year break, and things really could have gotten out of hand. Fortunately, we were able to gather together a skilled and willing group of actors and technicians who were more than up to the task.
I am proud of every one of them.
