 Cast and Crew Bios

Beyonca Akers (ensemble)

Beyonca is a 10th grader and is acting as the Court Clerk and is in ensemble. Some of her favorite shows she’s been in include Alice in Wonderland, Frozen (unperformed), and Dracula Baby. Outside of Drama Club, she likes to spend her time reading, crocheting, and writing.

Nick Angulo-Stevenson (Billy Flynn)

Nick is a senior. In the past, he has played Frankie Churchill in Emma: A Pop Musical. Next year, he will study business and hopes to join the drama club at whichever college he decides to attend. Outside of school, Nick enjoys playing soccer, running track, and hiking.

Adam Arco (Judge, ensemble)

Hi, I’m Adam. I’m a junior. I play a federal judge as well as a backup dancer to our fabulous leads. In the past, my most stand-out performance was as a child actor for Encore Players’ Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, where I played Jeremy. Outside of drama club, I am an avid competitive runner.

Eleanor Asbrand (Liz, ensemble)

Eleanor is a senior who has enjoyed participating in drama club since freshman year. She was involved in the 2019 play, The Laramie Project, the 2020 musical, Honk!, and the 2022 production, Emma: A Pop Musical. Outside of drama club, Eleanor runs for the cross country team and plays clarinet and baritone saxophone in both concert and jazz band.

Lincoln Brainard (ensemble)

Lincoln is a junior in the ensemble, which is a ton of fun. He has been in Emma, The Lion King, and co-choreographed Frozen Jr. His favorite part of the musical was being in the comedy duo with Quinn (trying crazy lifts and cracking dumb jokes throughout the year). He has danced for 8 years and is grateful for all who support him, especially his mom. She does so much for him and he loves her. Also thankful for Mrs.Lewis, Mrs.Bronzetti, and Chloe!

Annona Carpenter (costumes)

My name is Noni and I am in 9th grade. I joined drama club earlier this year, and Chicago is my only production other than The Plot, Like Gravy, Thickens. I really enjoy being in costumes because I get to help build the image of a character, and I try my best to make the costume as close to what the actor wants as possible. Thanks to Mena for being such a good manager of this department.

Elizabeth Cook (stage crew)

Elizabeth has been involved in every high school production in her four years in high school. She has acted in many of the shows and been student director for two. Elizabeth likes to go on hikes with her family and write. Elizabeth is interested in going to college and majoring in Sociology as well as continuing in the theatre program at whatever college she decides on going to.

Katherine Farnham (Mona, ensemble)

Katherine is a senior this year. She is playing Mona Lipschitz, one of the merry murderesses. She has been involved in drama since sixth grade and been in every musical since she was in seventh grade. She plans on attending college trying to find out what she wants to do. Outside of school she works a lot at Atlas Bowl and you can often find her at the gym before school. Thank you for attending our show!

Maren Friedman (Matron “Mama” Morton, ensemble)

Maren is an 11th grader and is happy to be Matron “Mama” Morton! She has been seen recently in Emma: A Pop Musical as Harriet and The Plot, Like Gravy, Thickens as Allegra, as well as in many other school and local theatre shows. She enjoys music in all senses: voice, trumpet, guitar, dance, etc.

Ellie Gattine (Mary Sunshine, ensemble)
Ellie is an 11th grader. Her past productions include The Plot, Like Gravy, Thickens (Edith), Emma (Ashley), Alice in Wonderland (Dormouse), Annie (Duffy), School of Rock, A Christmas Carol, and many more. Enjoy the show!
