Anya Rothman
as Little Cosette
Anya comes to TheatreCHS as a second grade student. She is thrilled to be part of the production.

David Becker
Director
This is David's fourth teaching year and fourth musical at Charlottesville High School. He is a member of VASTA and an AEA candidate. He was most recently seen at the Heritage Summer Musical Theater Festival in a production of 1776 playing the role of George Read. He holds an MFA in Theater Pedagogy from VCU and a BFA in Musical Theater from Shenandoah University.

Jason Hackworth
Pit Orchestra Director
Mr. Hackworth holds a Bachelor's of Music from the University of Tennessee and a Masters in Music Education from the University of South Carolina. During the course of his first year at CHS, he has lead the band program to a superior rating in State Concert Assessment for the first time in three years.

Matthew Jones
Vocal Coach/Pianist
Matt is a PhD candidate in the Critical & Comparative Studies in Music program. He has served as coach/music director for numerous surrounding theater programs. While working closely with CHS students, Matthew has been working tirelessly on his PhD dissertation.
