Acknowledgments
This production combined the unique and varied talents of Chicago Grammar School students and staff members.
We'd like to give a very special thank you to Ms. Marra and Mr. McCoy for creating and combining the words and music together in such a way as to challenge the students while keeping it fun, entertaining the audience and cleverly breathing new life to these time-honored tales.
Thank you to all the Chicago Grammar School teachers and staff not only for preparing the students for this performance, but for the care and attention they give the children each and every day: Nicole Daigle, Dan DeMoss, Sarah Gavin, Abby Green, Triphose Khonde, Rachael Marra, Oscar Martinez, Chad McCoy, and Armen Mekhitarian.
In addition, we are grateful to Kartika Sujdak for organizing the post-performance reception and would like to thank all the parent volunteers who have participated in pulling together the party.

A Message from Chicago Grammar's Head of School,
Phillip Jackson:
An evening such as tonight exemplifies one of the hallmarks of a classical education: learning, synthesizing what has been learned, and applying it in a fresh way.
This production, with its incorporation of classic medieval tales and contemporary music and movement, showcases an original creation in the inimitable style of CGS.
It has been challenging and rewarding to weave together all the grades into one cohesive production that incorporates music, dance, literature, drama, and comedy. A production that can work for a three-year-old as well as a thirteen-year-old. I'm so proud of these kids: there is so much to remember - not only lines but songs (there is A LOT of singing!) and where to place their bodies! Especially gratifying is that all the musical accompaniment is performed by the students. A talented bunch!
Wishing everyone a joyful holiday season! And we'll see you all in 2019!
