    Sean McMullen

    Director/Costume & Set Designer

    Sean is an arts educator at the Orange County School of the Arts and is the visionary behind The Children's Theatre of Long Beach. Sean holds a masters of Fine Arts from the California Institute of the Arts. He is the recipient of the Princess Grace Foundation’s Excellence in Theatre Award and was recognized as a Long Beach Hero in 2014. Sean has been choreographing and directing theatre for the past 15 years. An accomplished Theatre Designer, Sean has designed sets for venues ranging from intimate 60 seat houses to large theatres seating over 3000 patrons. From children’s theatre, equity waiver, civic light opera to the renowned Sacramento Music Circus, Sean has enjoyed the varied challenges each space has to offer.  He has designed and assisted designing sets, costumes and scenery regionally and on Broadway, working with designers Christopher Barreca and Douglas Rogers as well as for Directors Glenn Casale and Matthew August. He is the proud CEO of CTLB.

    Jennifer Hammond

    Director/Choreographer

    Jennifer Hammond is a Musical Theatre major who transplanted from New York City. She has performed in various venues around the world on the stage and has performed in Southern California with Disney and Universal Studios. A few of her favorite roles have been in The House of Yes (Jackie Pascale), Arsenic and Old Lace (Elaine Harper), and in How The Grinch Stole Christmas (.Martha May Who) She loves working with CTLB and is very excited to bring you this production of Joseph! When she isn't choreographing, directing, or performing she is traveling around the world with her 3 kids and her stuntman husband.
