DIRECTOR’S NOTE
It has been a tremendous honor to be a part of bringing this wonderful play to CTSMD and our community. It is a well written classic American drama, but not without its challenges. This play has wonderful moments of suspense and drama, but also has great moments of understanding in the face of adversity. As well as bringing to light that prejudices sometimes still happen based on where and how you grew up. One of my favorite lines in this piece is when Juror Number 9 says, “It takes a great deal of courage to stand alone”, which can be applied to any juror on the right or wrong side of an argument. To stand up for one’s convictions, while under great pressure, takes a great deal of courage. I would like to thank my team of Brandy O’Shields, Lara Reisman, Molly Crumbley and Shelly Baker, but most of all, these wonderful performing artists that have brought this classic to life! We have challenged one another and made this experience one I’ll never forget! Thank you for coming and enjoy our interpretation of Twelve Angry Jurors.
