Invest in Theater at CCS
Transforming the school gym into a theater each spring is an enormous
undertaking that requires building a stage from scratch, hanging lights, running
wiring for sound, and much more. One day we hope to have a more permanent
home, but in the meantime, we are doing our best to honor God with the resources
we've been given.
You may not be aware that ticket sales for this production will cover only
the royalties for performing this show (at best). That means that all other
expenses, from lights to sound to sets to props to costumes and more have to come
from the school's budget—or from the gifts of friends like you. (In fact, many of the
pieces and resources you see today have been purchased thanks to your gifts in
the past year, so thank you.)
Our goal is to continue upgrading equipment and providing quality fine
arts experiences for students for years to come. Would you consider making
a donation today toward offsetting the cost of this production and making future
purchases for our Chisago Christian School theater program? We would be truly
grateful.
Donations can be placed in buckets at the concessions tables or in those held by
volunteers at the end of tonight's performance. You can also send a check to
the school office at any time with "CCS Theater" in the memo line.
