as Narrator, Mysterious Man
This will be Jesse's first full production with CTI since playing Sam Weinberg in A Few Good Men in 2018. This will also be his first musical with CTI. He has always loved being a part of the theatre and feels overwhelmingly blessed to be on stage with many talented people. He would love to thank his friends and family for their continued support and encouragement.

Sharon Johnson
as Giant/ Cinderella's Mother/ Granny
Sharon is making her debut performance with The City Theatre of Independence. This is her third Sondheim musical (others were Follies (Stella) and Sweeney Todd). Sharon performs locally with several theater companies including Shawnee Mission TITP, Leawood Stage Company, Olathe Theatre, Barn Players, White Theatre, MLP, Culture House and Sharon most recently performed in The Color Purple Musical at Metropolitan Ensemble Theatre. Josh Keen
as Steward
This is Josh's third show with CTI. He has appeared in Seussical The Musical, Gypsy, and Into The Woods. Josh recently performed the role of Drew in Rock Of Ages the musical in March. After this show, he will perform in The Wizard of Oz in July. Yes, he is very busy.

Elizabeth Schoenborn
as Cinderella
Elizabeth is stepping into her dream role of Cinderella for her debut at CTI. Last June, she was most recently seen in Padgett Productions’ Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street and in her Kansas City debut at the Metropolitan Ensemble Theatre in Oliver! as Mrs. Bedwin. Liz studied Musical Theatre at the University of Central Missouri where she received her BFA and dance minor. She would like to thank her husband Austen, her family, and her friends for all their love and support. She would also like to thank all involved in Into the Woods for making this such a rewarding experience.
