Director's Note
There is nothing like the energy and the students of Clearfield High School. Working on this production with these students has been a true joy. Their efforts and strength as artists and humans is truly magnificent. I will hold a special place in my heart for this cast and this production forever. We have been through so much, and to get to perform is such a breif respit and I appreciate the chance to share stories with any audience. Thank you to all of the alumni who have contacted me and donated time, money, and words of encouragement. Thanks to Val and Mark, I am so lucky to work with the best, I love them and their efforts to make all the performing arts great at CHS. Thanks to my family for their support, especially Cormick. I know it is not always easy being the teachers kid, lets face it-it's not easy being my kid, but it is easy to be his mom. I will miss seeing him at school and lunch (have fun at SUU.) Education is one of this countries greatest equalizers. I grew up watching these songs on Saturday mornings, and they did help with times tables and grammar, things that I struggle with put to song made learning fun. Sit back have fun, and maybe learn a bit too.
