 Crew Who's Who

  • Beth Klemp

    Clarinet & Alto Saxophone

My name is Beth Klemp and I have played in the pit orchestra with clarinet and saxophone for the last 3 years. The musicals that I have been involved with include Bye Bye Birdie, Oklahoma!, and this year's musical Hello, Dolly! Sitting in the pit area has many memorable moments. My favorite moments include mouthing the lines while the actors are saying them and the one time that we played musical chairs.

  • Sarah Boyer

    Clarinet & Tenor Saxophone

I have participated in the school musical for the past two years. Last year I played the clarinet with the pit orchestra for Oklahoma. This year I am playing the clarinet as well as the tenor saxophone for Hello Dolly. I have enjoyed practicing and working with the other musicians. It has been exciting watching how the actors and musicians come together to put on a great performance. I would encourage other students to give it a try and enjoy the experience

  • Shelby Keller

    Drum Set

Late nights, hours upon hours of practice, stress and pressure, and nerves. Being part of the musical, although it is so much work, is really worth it to me. Even pit orchestra, where we are maybe forgotten about by audience members, it is such a great group to be a part of. Getting together for practices, and hanging out before or after shows, is so much fun for everyone involved in the musical since we all understand how much effort we have all put in together. Pit orchestra is just as much work and practice as being an actor or actress in the musical… except we get to sit down the whole time.
