While Isabella is a freshman here at Coast, theater is nothing new to her. This will be her fourth spring musical and she is very excited for many more to come. Isabella is glad to be able to be working with such an amazing group of people, and wants to thank them for their enthusiasm and dedication.

On the Playstation is where I spent most of my days.

Chillin' out, maxin', relaxin all cool,

And playin’ some DnD outside of school.

When a couple of nights I was up to some good,

Started singin’ songs in my neighborhood.

I got in one little play, my bro got proud,

And said "You're doin' some plays with me and my friends."

I tried for a lead, and got it right here,

Now I’m the Master, of Cherry Tree Lane.

Crystal Martinez

Meet Crystal Martinez, Vice President of the Drama Club. Crystal has participated in five plays, making her first debut in the 2013 production of “Beauty and the Beast” as a knife. As her time at Coast Union comes to an end, Crystal is grateful to make her last debut in “Mary Poppins”. Lastly, as a friendly reminder, she’d like to say that despite what you saw last year with her brother Leo Martinez starring as Jimmy in “Thoroughly Modern Millie” she is still, and always will be the better performer.

Serina Valenzuela

as Bird Woman

Serina Valenzuela is excited to be apart of the show Mary Poppins. She attends Coast Union High School and is performing in her very first musical. Along with being in the musical, she also plays volleyball and softball and sings in the Coast Union AP Choir. She would like to thank her family, Ms. German, and Sarah for being so understanding and believing in her. She would also like to thank her best friends, Hayley, Lina, and DJ for being so supportive throughout this year.
