This production of Into the Woods Jr. has been a labor of love. We have worked hard for several months to bring it to life. I would like to thank several people who helped me get through it.
First and foremost, I want to recognize my assistant director, Molly Kreitman who has volunteered her time for the second year to help bring this show to life. Her help and the energy she brings to it are invaluable.
We have also been lucky to have Terry Frost working with one of our students as a paraprofessional and the kids and I have so appreciated her input, her expertise, (and having other adults in the room is always a good thing). She has truly become one of us, thank you, Terry!
Terry also connected us wih her talented brother who very kindly built our wonderful set pieces! Thank you, Rick!
We've had some wonderful family support getting students to and from afterschool rehearsals- I know this is difficult to completely changed the routine- but thank you! And thank you for the wonderful snacks and drinks that were donated to get the kids through those rehearsals!
A few families have stepped in at the last minute to help cover the costs of this production and we very much appreciate your support. It is people like you that help us make these experiences extra special for the students!
I also want to thank the Colina custodial team and Mr. Nate McNamee. They work so hard on our campus every day and then also help us set up stage pieces, chairs, and lights- we appreciate you!
Thank you also to Mr. Frank and the admin team for their unwavering support of the Drama program. It is so important for kids to have access to classes like this.
Thank you so very much for your support by being here to see the fruits of our labors. It means the world to the kids and I and it is why we do what we do. :)
