Alana Mosley is 20 years old and is acting for her first time since high school. Alana first got involved with theater by joining her middle school’s drama club and she fell in love with the world of theatre. Alana has mostly worked as crew, changing mics for shows like Till Death Do Us Part and Chicago in Cardinal Theatre. Alana worked as run crew for River Stage’s production of Urinetown The Musical last fall. she is excited to act in this staged reading of Birdmocking.

Amara Kali is a black feminist actor. Select credits include A Raisin in the Sun at 6th Street Playhouse, Crumbs from the Table of Joy at Town Hall Theatre, The Curious Savage at the Asolo Conservatory, and understudy in Inherit the Wind at the Asolo Rep. MA from Florida State/Asolo Conservatory.

EMMA ROSE WEHRLI
as Mayella Violet Ewell, Horace Gilmer, Second Sheriff, Cult Member
Emma Rose Wehrli is a 25 year old actress from Sacramento California. She has been in the theater and film world since she was 9 years old. Her love for acting & story telling got started in childhood listening to her Father talk about the books and screenplays he wrote. This is her third show with River Stage, and she is honored to be a part of this staged reading of Birdmocking. Being able to take part in the early stages of a new project is a rare privilege. Her recent roles include Sasha in Orlando and Ma Strong in Urinetown The Musical. Emma deeply loves performing, and enjoys diving deep into every show she is in.

ERIC CHARLTON
as Thomas Robinson
Eric Charlton is a Cosumnes River College student who majors in Theatre and Music. He spends his time rehearsing for shows or in a practice room working on his repertoire. He’s performed in other staged readings such as All in the Timing and Play it Straight. Eric hopes to transfer to a four year school and continue his studying of musical theatre.
