A Note from the Director: 

Well hello there audience, I'm happy to see you in the seats here at the High Desert Center for the Arts. Thank you for taking a chance on this show, it's truly a masterpiece!

I have an awesome cast to thank in Ammiel Hamrick and Keith Glisson, they've both worked extememely hard to get to this point. These two really have embodied the characters of Cathy and Jamie, from top to bottom. It's too bad that we don't get visited by Inland Theater League here in the desert because I'm positive that they would both get nominated for a ITL Award.

This show has been one of my all-time favorites, Jason Robert Brown has really created a show that pulls at the heart strings one moment and then has you laughing your ass off the other moment! Last Five Years has been around from 2001 until now and it still has such an effect on audiences, casts, directors, and the like. It takes you through a 5-year relationship of two people from the first date until the end, however, Cathy's story goes from end to beginning and Jamie's story goes from beginning to end. This creates the wonderful work of art that we're performing tonight.

A Huge Thank you to Tim, Cherie, Hunter, Rhonert, Amber, Mike, Dan, Jessica, James, Nick, and Cassia for everything you've added to this production!
