    Zac Anderson

    Director

    Zac is the founder of Curtain Up Theatre Camp, which he started in 2019. He is currently a junior at Wake Forest University, where he is a Presidential Scholar for Theatre studying Marketing, Theatre, and Entrepreneurship. Zac has been seen in several musicals including Seussical the Musical, Bright Star, She Loves Me and more.Along with acting, he has directed several shows including Animal Farm, Junie B. Jones the Musical, The 24HR Musical Project: Seussical TYA! He received an Outstanding Aware through the Spotlight Theatre Program for his direction of Junie B. Jones the Musical. He has performed in iconic venues such as Carnegie Hall and the Orpheum Theater. When not in the theater he enjoys skiing, playing picklball, and spending time with his two yellow labs Harry and Murphy. If he were living in the Beast’s castle, he would be the disco ball in “Be Our Guest.”

    Julie Lund

    Music Director

    Julie Lund is a constant learner in the School of Life.  She has been with Curtain Up for four wonderful years. Julie has a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from the University of Wisconsin at River Falls and a Masters of Education degree from Hamline University. Her own theatre experiences pale in comparison to the talented young people in this performance.   She loves word puzzles, reading, growing plants, teaching and playing with her three dogs.  She sees herself as an antique fern stand with a beautiful doily on the top in the enchanted castle.

    Matthew Humason

    Technical Director

    Matthew is an educator and theatre artist based in the Twin Cities. An alum of St. Olaf College with a degree in Theater and Education, he now works as the Middle School Theater Director and Upper School Technical Director at Minnehaha Academy. He’s performed with Minnetonka Community Theater, (Little Women, Merrily We Roll Along, Into the Woods) and Melancholics Anonymous, (A Day with the Newhearts, A Sweeney Todd Thanksgiving, On Air: The Wuppet Time Murders, Good Grief) and worked as a technician with Minnetonka Community Theater, Theatre L'Homme Dieu and St. Olaf College. Matthew is also a freelance fight choreographer, with credits including Deathtrap, The Lion in Winter (Northfield Arts Guild), She Kills Monsters, 30 Minute Hamlet, Beowulf (St. Olaf College). In his free time, Matthew enjoys playing D&D, drinking tea, and making things with his hands. If he lived in the castle, Matthew would be a broken clock because he would still be right twice a day.
