The Diary of Anne Frank (Adapted by Wendy Kesselman) - August 04 - August 09, 2014

Curtain and Lights Theatre Company

 End Notes

This production of "The Diary of Anne Frank" has been eight years in the making. The story has been close to my heart for many years. I have spent the past eight years researching this story, time period, and the horrors experienced.  And now that I  have the opprotunity to direct and perform in this Pulitzer Prize-winning play is a dream come true!

A portion of the proceeds collected from ticket sells will be donated to the End It Movement, a part of the International Justice Mission, that works to bring liberation to slaves in our world today. There are currently 27 Million people who are in slavery. 200,000 of them are here in the United States of America. People in America and in countries all over the world are forced to work in labor camps, being held prisoner in concentration camps, and being sold into sex slavery. Join us in being a voice for those who are oppressed.

Monday August 4th, 2014 marks the 70th anniversary of the families being discovered and arrested for evading the Nazi’s call up notice. As we perform this show, the victims are in our minds and hearts. May we never forget and may we stop current/future atrocities from taking place!

I want to take this opportunity to thank to my second family: my wonderful Cast, Crew, and Supporters who have made this production possible! I love each and every one of you!

Thank you for taking time out of your busy Summer schedule to come see our show!

God Bless you and your families!

Heather Anderson

"So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. Give no offense to Jews or to Greeks or to the church of God, just as I try to please everyone in everything I do, not seeking my own advantage, but that of many, that they may be saved." 1 Corinthians 10:31-33
