David Becker
David Becker hails from Richmond, Virginia. He has also appeared in summer opera productions at Bay View, Michigan and Ashlawn Highland, as well as at Shenandoah Summer Musical Theater, Virginia Rep, Heritage Theatre Festival in Charlottesville, Virginia. David has taught at Charlottesville High School as the drama/technical theatre director for the past eight years. He also has served as a guest dialect and vocal coach for numerous productions in the Charlottesville area as well as at James Madison University, where his credits include dialect coaching of Arcadia, Sweeney Todd, Our Country’s Good, and Boeing Boeing. Past productions include Les Miserables, Sweeney Todd, Hairspray, Aida, The 39 Steps, RENT, Into the Woods and A Raisin in the Sun. He holds an MFA in Theater Pedagogy from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a BFA in Musical Theater from Shenandoah University.
Anna Brooks
(Dance Apprentice) Anna Brooks is a rising freshman at Virginia Tech University with plans to pursue a career in music and creative writing. She is a 2017 Honor Graduate of Tunstall High School in Dry Fork, VA and has been a student with The Meredith Gravely School of Dance for the past 15 years. Anna has also been a stand-out performer with The Meredith Gravely Dance Company, the studio’s competitive performance group, for the past five seasons and recently helped lead them to a National High Score Silver win and a coveted Tremaine Dance Gala berth! Over the years, Anna has attended numerous dance conventions including Tremaine, Dance Makers Inc., Jump, Nuvo, Radix, and Velocity. This past year, Anna was also a class assistant at her home studio. Anna is a fabulous dancer but she is also an accomplished singer who performs regionally as well as at her church. She is thrilled to be a part of Broadway at the Paramount and has had a wonderful week!
