  • Mark Williams

    Director

    Mark is a Charlottesville native who is no stranger to the stage. He has been in many productions and is excited to guide others in their theatrical experience.

  • Kathryn Salem

    Choreographer

    Kathryn is a local special education teacher. She enjoys working with the young actors of Charlottesville and sharing her passion of dance and performing. Kathryn made her debut appearance at DMR in the 2018 production of Newsies. In May 2023, she assisted with the direction and choreography of Singing In The Rain at DMR. Break a leg to the cast and crew!

  • Xavier Taylor

    Music Director

    Xavier Taylor is a local performer and singing teacher of everything from classical to rock. He is originally from Maryland and studied voice at New England Conservatory. Currently he is the choir teacher at the Village School and very glad to be continuing his work with DMR as a director (Finding Nemo JR, SpongeBob, Songs for a New World, Aladdin KIDS, Lion King KIDS), the director of the new All Stars Troupe, and Resident Music Director, as well as the Director of the All Stars Pre-Professional Program. Xavier recently adapted and wrote the music, lyrics and book of Abiyoyo, a Story-Song Musical, which was produced on Oct. 25 as a part of the CPG Wilsonian Soldier Symposium.

  • Crystal Johnson

    Stage Manager

    Crystal is Charlottesville native and works for Charlottesville City Schools. She got her start at DMR becasue of her daughters love of Musical theateer. This is Crystal first attempt at stage management and she has loved learning what it takes to put on a production
