Director
Wesley Diener is a Chicago-based singer, actor, educator, and director who performs internationally in operas, musicals, and concerts. He is the Founder of WD Studio, a virtual voice studio offering individual lessons and group classes in singing, songwriting, and acting. His students have performed in professional Broadway tours, theater productions, films, and TV series.

Katie Wall
Choreographer
Katie Wall is a recent graduate of Viterbo University with a BFA in Music Theatre and minor in Dance. EDUCATIONAL: Wendy Jo (Footloose), Heather Duke (Heathers! the Musical). REGIONAL: Celisse (Godspell). She is so proud of these amazing students and their incredible hard work! She is so grateful to be back at DMR and looks forward to an amazing year!

Andrew Betz
Stage Manager
is proud to return to DMR after recently collaborating on last summer’s Bugsy Malone Jr, fall’s Frog and Toad Kids and Matilda, and DMR’s James and the Giant Peach at JTF. An actor and creative coach, Andrew has appeared in various regional theatre productions, in the national tour of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, and on the Norwegian Cruise Lines. Break legs, folks!

Xavier Taylor
Music Director
is a local performer and singing teacher of everything from classical to rock. He is originally from Maryland and studied voice at New England Conservatory. Currently he is the choir teacher at the Village School and very glad to be continuing his work with DMR as a Director and Music director.

Karen Schlicht
Production Manager, Dresser
Karen has been in the role of production manager since the fall of 2022. She also splits her time as costume designer/mentor. If you would have told her 5 years ago that she would find herself getting to work with the most brilliant adults and students she would never have believed it. It is never too late to do what you love.
