The Music Man - February 09 - February 14, 2026

Dancing Man Productions

 End Notes

My journey with Music Man started as a high school senior, when I took on the role of Marcellus Washburn then about one year later, when it was my FIRST PAID choreographer job!!  Fast forward 4+ decades later and I am getting to tell Meredith Willson’s story once again. I cannot tell you what a joy it has been to discover the senior shows from Music Theatre International (MTI). After our first show, Guys and Dolls, Dancing Man Productions was selected to serve as a pilot for MTI Senior Shows, stay tuned as we roll out new shows!! Putting Music Man together has been a complete JOY!! We had two of our cast members that were forced to pull themselves from our production: Rick and Joy Clayton-we look forward to welcoming you back to the DMP family with open arms. Every single day at rehearsal was so much fun to see artists shine and find their new community-it doesn’t get much better than that!!

So many people to thank: MTI for bringing the Senior shows to life. Michele Weathers: for believing in our vision immediately. Raleigh Little Theatre for being our partner in providing space and guidance. Our team: Bo, Paul, Diane, Maggie, Kelly, Wyatt and Marshall- we have truly created collaboratively. I have loved every minute of working with you- you all are my ride or die. To the artists on stage and behind the scenes-I have loved every minute of our time together. Lastly, to Mark Steward-he believes in me and always says, “Let’s do it!” Thank you for jumping in with both feet to make this happen.

Remember you are never too old to make art!!  Enjoy the show!
