Ashby Blakely (Bruce) is excited to perform with this wonderful cast in his first production with DCP.  Ashby was most recently seen as one of the titular characters in Vampire Lesbians of Sodom as Succubus/Magda Legerdemain. Since moving to NC in 2003,  Ashby has performed in numerous productions with Paperhouse Theatre, Children’s Theatre of Charlotte (both MainStage and Tarradiddle Players), Charlotte Squawks, Theatre Charlotte, CPCC (Main and Summer Seasons), Actors Theatre of Charlotte, XOXO, PlayPlay, Carowinds, and Festival Stage of Winston Salem.  Ashby would like to thank everyone involved at DCP for the opportunity to tell this story and a special thank you to his supportive husband, Kevin for running lines with him over and over…and over.

 

Bart Copeland (Roy, Mark, Pete, Bobby Jeremy) is honored to help tell this story while making his debut with Davidson Community Players.  Recent theater credits include: Queen City Concerts' Diana (James Hewitt),  Titanic (Harold  Bride), 

Kinky Boots, and Murder Ballad (Michael); as well as Theatre Charlotte's Pippin (Pippin), Something Rotten, and All Together Now.  In addition to performing, he is an educator, husband, designer, and dad. He is so grateful to the DCP team for fostering a safe space for creativity, the remarkable cast for their level of commitment, and Audrey for her unconditional support and encouragement.

 

Bailey Fischer (Small Alison) is so excited to be in this production of Fun Home with the DCP! Before getting to fly on this stage, some of her other credits include roles in Shrek the Musical and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever: The Musical with Children’s Theatre of Charlotte’s MainStage; Matilda, Jr and Frozen, Jr with Camp Jump; and Captain Louie and Bye Bye Birdie with Children’s Theatre of Charlotte’s OnStage program. When she’s not rehearsing or performing, Bailey enjoys writing, reading, playing video games, Girl Scouts and spending time with friends and family! She would like to thank her family for their support, this cast and crew for being so FUN and supportive, and to the directing team for trusting her with such an important role!

 

Grayson Flowers (Christian) a passionate actor since age seven, debuted in A Midsummer Night’s Dream with Davidson Community Players. He continues to showcase his versatility and dedication in various theatre productions with MCCT and ACT, including a standout performance as Chef Louis in The Little Mermaid. From classics to contemporary favorites, Grayson’s repertoire is diverse, with notable portrayals such as Charlie in The Best Worst Christmas Pageant Ever, reflecting his boundless enthusiasm and love for acting.

 

Aiden Honeycutt (John) is delighted to return to the Armour Street stage, having previously been seen in Charlotte's Web. In addition to his previous Wilbur role, Aiden was most recently in the ensemble of DCP's production of Frozen Jr. at the Cain Center, played Spritely the Dwarf in Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs at the Charles Mack Center, and embodied the lovable Chip in DCP's production of Beauty and the Beast Jr. In addition to acting and singing, Aiden is an undercover lego master and history buff. Aiden is appreciative of the cast members taking him under their wing and for the opportunity to perform on DCP's main stage. Enjoy the show!
