Pat Langille (Marliyn) is thrilled and thankful to be allowed to share a stage with such kind and talented fellow actors and to collaborate with such solid backstage talent to bring this lovely, funny story to Davidson. Her background in theatre began in 2006 in Northern New England and for ten years was a huge part of her life, playing roles in both professional and community productions. Since moving here with her husband Todd and dog Buddy in 2017, she has largely lived a drama-free life, with the exception of playing a bucket-list role, MARY TYRONE in LONG DAY'S JOURNEY INTO NIGHT at Rock Hill Theatre, and MARLA in SAVANNAH SIPPING SOCIETY at Fort Mill Community Playhouse. Thank you for supporting the local arts by joining us today!
Karen Lico (Abby) has been acting for the last 10 years. She was a late bloomer who decided that it was time to finally follow her dream. One of her favorite roles was Linda Lomen in the DCP production of DEATH OF A SALESMAN directed by Marla Brown. She has been part of the Boos and Brews events at DCP for the last 3 seasons, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Before Karen moved to Cornelius from New York almost 4 years ago, she performed as Juror No. 12 in TWELVE ANGRY JURORS with the Minstrel Players. She was also a supporting character, Tina Kestenbaum in WALTER’S WISH, an original play. Karen has also done some film work as an extra which has been very exciting. Karen trained and performed in several showcases under the direction of Regina Schneider and Lynn Antunovich while living in New York. They pushed her to become a better artist and performer. She is so grateful to her family and friends for their love and support while on this life’s journey. Karen especially appreciates her husband who always cheers her on and is her biggest fan.
Lowell Lark (Scotty) performed in Drama club in grade school and you can find him processing around entertaining audiences at the Carolina Renaissance Festival as a Royal of the court. Most recently he could be found at an outdoor production of SHAKESPEARE IN THE WRONG HANDS by Bruce Kane as Narrator/Hamlet. He is excited to be a supporting actor working with the great cast of RIPCORD. Lowell is focused on enhancing his improv and stage skills. He enjoys giving back to the community and has been working a lot with local theatres. When he’s not on stage, he enjoys time with family and traveling. Being a native of the Washington, DC area he travels to visit family as much as he can. When possible, he likes to find a good beach to relax on.
Rigo Nova (Derek/Zombie/Masked Man) is a working actor from Honduras and is thrilled to be back at Davidson Community Players. Theatre work has developed his talent to the next level such as speaking Arabic (the role of Musa) in the play BENGAL TIGER AT THE BAGHDAD ZOO and part of FROST/NIXON. Recent work includes Mando in how to make an American son at Common Thread Theatre, DEATH OF A SALESMAN, and Michel in MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS. He can be seen in several TV series, films, and Spanish commercials. Amazing at imitating different voices! He enjoys research, technical reading/writing, computers, and acting. His background is in engineering and IT. He loves diversity and appreciates very much different cultures. He is delighted to be part of the cast for RIPCORD with his return to entertain! He thanks for everyone's support and patronage. Blessings to all. Rigo regresa al escenario contento de ser parte del reparto. Su actuación conmueve a la audiencia. Bendiciones a todos.
John Pace (Benjamin/Lewis/Clown) is excited to be back on the DCP stage and back in theatre in general since his last show CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHTTIME, with Davidson Community Players in 2020. You also may have seen John in DCP'S BENEDICTIONS playing David Mack. When John is not on stage, he loves to cook, play the piano, drums, and watch a lot of tv shows especially reality tv competition shows. Props to anybody who loves to skydive because you won't see John doing that. He hopes that everyone loves the show as much as he does.
Kimberly Saunders (Colleen/Woman in White) is thrilled to be performing once again with Davidson Community Players. Previous appearances include PROPHESY TO THE BONES and the annual BOOS & BREWS PLAY FESTIVAL. She recently directed THE LAST FIVE YEARS at Old Courthouse Theatre and THE INNOCENTS with Post Mortem Players. Thank you to her friends and family for their endless support!
