Jenae' Naquin
as Truvy Jones
Jenae' Naquin is a senior at Destrehan High School and has been in talented theatre for a total of nine years. Although this will be her last year in drama, she hopes to continue acting on the side in college even if it's not her intended career path. Jenae' says she has been extremely lucky to work with Mrs. Santos for the last time, as well as the amazing cast. Jenae's past roles include the Prince from Romeo and Juliet, and Sherlock Holmes in If Sherlock Holmes were a Woman. She says performing for her last time will be bittersweet but this production has helped her grow as an actress and she hopes everyone enjoys the show!

Abigail Johnson
as Annelle Dupuy-Desoto
Abigail Johnson is a sophomore at Destrehan. She has been in Talented Theatre for 7 years and is a part of the DHS drama club. She has previously been seen in Romeo and Juliet as Juliet, Alice's Adventure's in Wonderland as The Queen of Hearts, James and the Giant Peach as James, and many more. Abigail hopes to one day own a theatre company and produce and direct shows. She is so proud of the entire cast of Steel Magnolias and is very thankful to have worked with them. Enjoy the show!

Layne Carlson
as Clairee Belcher
Layne Carlson is currently a junior and has been in talented theater since 3rd grade. This is her 13th production, and her credits consist of Lady Capulet in Romeo and Juliet, Adelaide in Guys and Dolls and Lily in Annie. She is also involved in many other school organizations such as student council, BETA, NHS, SADD, Desty Darlings, tv production crew, drama club, and she is in the honors program. Layne feels as though theater has always played a significant role in her life, and she wants to thank mrs. santos and the other cast and crew members for mocking this a memorable experience. She hopes you enjoy the show!
