Izzy Roth

as Belle

Izzy is a senior here at Dougherty, and she is so excited for her final show here at DVHS. She has been in every DVHS Drama production since she was a freshman, and she is now president of Drama Club and Captain of Improv. Izzy is proud to be a Pisces and an earring enthusiast. Outside of rehearsal, you can nearly always find her studying at Peet’s Coffee & Tea. She would like to give a special shout-out to her family for supporting her theater dreams(even in this economy), Abbie for always being there for her, and all of her friends for the humor and joy they bring to her life. She would also like to thank Vegz and all her fellow cast members, for being so supportive and making her last show here amazing. She thanks you for coming and hopes you enjoy the show!
Joshua Guadarrama

as Beast

You may recognize Joshua from Grease where he played the role of Danny Zuko. He has performed with his band “Ruakh” at school rallies. Joshua has been around music all his life, leading worship at his church and singing in musicals since he was 8. He’s grateful and honored to be offered such an amazing opportunity. Sit back, get comfortable, and enjoy the show!
Jose Sarmiento

as Gaston

Jose Sarmiento is a junior and is proud to be in this year’s production of Beauty and the Beast! Before this, he participated in Grease, Love/Sick, Rent, and The Importance of Being Earnest. Jose loves acting and dreams of pursuing a job in the film industry after high school. Besides acting, Jose enjoys music, watching films, writing, and pole vaulting on Dougherty’s track and field team. He would like to thank Mr. Vega for this unforgettable opportunity, his fellow cast members, and anyone who is helping behind the scenes. He hopes you like it! Enjoy the show!
Lys Perez

as Lefou

Lys is ecstatic to be portraying Lefou in this year's production of Beauty and the Beast. This is her fourth show at DVHS, having taken part in Our Town as Woman in the Box, Grease as Ensemble, and Love/Sick as an understudy. Her current interests include psychology and Spanish, and she plays for Dougherty's varsity softball team.
