Michael Chang
as Constantine
Michael is a senior at DVHS. I Heard You Were Dead is his first experience with the Dougherty drama program, as well as his first play performed ever. Outside of drama and school, Michael enjoys playing the piano and violin, listening to music, and pacing listlessly around his room. He would like to thank his family, friends, fellow cast members, and Mr. Vega for all of their patience, kindness, and tireless support. He hopes that you enjoy the show!

Lauren Quimson
as Piper
Lauren is a Junior at Dougherty Valley and is very excited to be part of this year’s play! Lauren is so excited about playing this role, that she is writing this biography right after the cast was revealed. She has been part of many DV Drama productions, including Almost, Maine, Heathers, Radium Girls, and The Little Mermaid. Other than being part of the drama program, she is also part of the choir program, dance program, and Filipino American Club at DV. When not at school or doing homework, she loves crocheting and listening to music for the most part, so you should totally ask her to make you something because she loves to crochet instead of doing homework (just kidding dad). Now, Lauren hopes you enjoy the show and hopes you’ll be “howling” with laughter!

She would also like to thank Mr. Vega for his guidance and dedication to the theater program and for encouraging her to audition for this play. She also extends her gratitude to her Visual and Performing Arts Teachers, for their positive impact on her life!
