Notes From The Director:

Everyone knows the magic The Wizard of Oz has.  I mean, there is a reason it has been what it has for 75 years. When the process for this production began, I thought I knew what this show would bring and all the magic it would possess.  This is my first time as a director and I thought it would be just a fun experience to have. On all of these levels, I was wrong. First of all, I was wrong because I had no idea what was to come over the course of neither this production nor the magic it possessed. Secondly, it was not just a fun experience; it was a life changing experience. The actors you are soon to watch have shown me a new level of magic I have never before witnessed on a stage. Their professionalism and resilience to every curveball imaginable is nearly inconceivable. Finally, I am glad that for the next two and a half hours, you get to sit back and enjoy the same magic from these actors that I have had the honor of watching grow for the past few months.
