 Senior Band and Crew Spotlight

  • Marissa Cabrido

I don’t really like people. So I was skeptical about working with other students. Being able to help with the theatre set made me realize it’s not that bad working with others.

  • Tiffany Chung

I have worked with theatre since my sophomore year and all I had to do was paint and draw what was given to me. For Tarzan, my group and I had to design the look of the entire set and paint it after. This assignment helped me gain more leadership experience and enhanced my creativity. Overall, it was a challenging and educational experience and I was happy to take part in it.

  • Kasandra Pate

Working in the theatre on set designs with tech and the other theatre students definitely helped me with my socialization and communication skills. This experience helped me open my mind to different perspectives and to incorporate my own ideas.

  • Christina Rodriguez

Without even thinking about it, I was gaining skills in my time in the theatre. Who would have thought that doing some set work and having fun can be beneficial?! Being in the theatre was taught me leadership skills as well as teamwork! Not to mention it was a big confidence boost. When people complimented some of my ideas, it made me feel great about myself!

  • Marcela Chicas

Marcela is a senior who plays the flute and piano in Tarzan. After graduation she plans to go to college for game design or to get famous with her band called Autumn in Stitches.
