Director's Notes
My favorite lyric in Shrek comes in Act 2- "What makes us special makes us strong." In my 12 years at ECC, I have seen firsthand over and over again how strong our community is. I am constantly amazed and grateful at the amount of people in our local area and our ECC administration who recognize how 'special' the arts are and how important it is to provide support and encouragement for our students and community members who work onstage and backstage. These are challenging times for the arts and just by joining us today, you are helping to share the message of acceptance and love that winds through Shrek.
