    Tom Parr IV

    Writer, Set and Light Design

    Tom Parr is the Artistic Director for East Dallas Arts. This is his second original work following 2019's Chasing Alice. Tom has directed and produced over 30 professional plays over the last 15 years at multiple area theaters including Second Thought Theatre (founder) and Richardson Theater Center. His next work, The Christmas Line: A Chorus Line Parody will premiere this November at EDA.

    Kristin Parr

    Kristin Parr is an economist working as a Project Manager for Davis Demographics where she specializes in school planning and geospatial analysis. She is an avid supporter of the arts and appreciates the opportunity to express her creative side through theatre. Her first original play was an adaptation of Lewis Carrol’s works performed at Nouveau 47 Theatre. In the last decade, she has been involved with more than 15 productions as a costume designer. Kristin is thrilled to be part of this production with her husband and two daughters as well as the ever growing theatre family that East Dallas Arts has created.  

  • Grant Gilker head shot

    Grant Gilker

    Assistant Director

    Grant is thrilled to be in his third East Dallas Arts production! Last seen at this theatre as Hanchen in Spring Awakening and Paunch and Parents in Spelling Bee. Grant is currently a senior at Parish Episcopal School and has begun to design, direct, and write for their stage. His recent credits include: Agatha Trunchbull in Matilda and Bottom in A Midsummer Night's Dream. He has the honor of assistant directing this production and would like to thank this creative team for being such incredible teachers and role models.
