Asa is 19 years old and a Sophomore at SMU. At SMU he is pursuing a BFA in Theatre Studies and a BA in Psychology. This is his first show at East Dallas Arts and he is more than excited to take part in this endeavour. He’d like to thank his teachers, directors, and parents for all they have taught (and continue to teach) him.

Gideon is a freelance Actor/Singer/Guitarist in the DFW area as well as a sophomore in the Dallas College system. Gideon has been seen in West Side Story (Tony) at Stolen Shakespeare's Guild, Next To Normal (Gabe) at Music Theatre Denton, Greece-Staged Reading (Orpheus) at Imprint Theatreworks, Les Miserables (Jean Valjean) at Dallas Young Artists, American Idiot (St. Jimmy) at Junior Players, How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying (J. Pierpont Finch) at Garland High School, The Curious Savage (Jeff) at Garland High School, Hope In The Heartland-Original Cast (Norman) at S.T.A.G.E, and in The Drowsy Chaperone (Ensemble) at The Firehouse Theatre. He’d like to thank his family and friends for supporting him, as well as the EDA creative team for finding a way to do theatre again safely. He hopes you all enjoy the show! Megan Muscato
as Wendla
Megan is a sophomore at SMU pursuing majors in Theatre and Education with a minor in Musical Theatre. She has performed locally in Small Mouth Sounds, Top Girls, Once Upon a Mattress, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Into the Woods, Hamlet, and more. She is honored to be a part of Spring Awakening at East Dallas Arts and would like to thank Jeremy, Tom, Kathleen, Katie, and the cast and crew for making this all possible in the midst of “creative apocalypse."
