What a show! Shrek the Musical is being brought before you by our 2016 Creative Team to highlight the newest and most vigorous talents of our student performers at East Pennsboro High School. This year’s production takes us into a fantasy land with Fairytale Creatures and Storybook Characters. Striving to deliver a fun-filled educational process, we have emphasized many modern theatrical techniques and performance components. We strive to allow our students the chance to grow in new ways while allowing them to be educated in all areas of the theatrical process. Our devoted staff continues to focus on providing each student with a caring and compassionate environment, as they grow in their theaterical endeavors and education. Seeing students achieve their goals is the greatest reward for any educator. There is nothing that we, as a staff, love more than watching each student experience success in their lives and on stage! Break a leg cast and crew!

Welcome to East Pennsboro Area High School’s Shrek: The Musical. It is always such an honor to welcome you to what I consider to be one of the best shows around. I am sure you will marvel at the talent and dedication that is demonstrated by our students and staff in this outstanding production!
Shrek has developed into one of the most popular characters for audiences of all ages. Please be prepared to join us as our students take you on a journey with Shrek as he ventures from home to begin his life. He will make all of us a “Believer.” It will be a night to remember for certain!
I would like to congratulate our students and staff who continue to produce such high quality productions in our school district – I know we are grateful for your hard work and dedication. So, with that, I say to you all – relax and enjoy – and let us entertain you!

Tonight it is our pleasure to welcome you to "Shrek the Musical." At EPHS, our students are well known for their musical ability and our perfomers this year are ready to go once again. On behalf of the faculty and staff of the high school, we appreciate their efforts and congratulate them for all of their hard work. So, will Shrek get his swamp back? Will Lord Farquaad win the day? Or will the curse be broken for Fiona? Let's sit back and watch a fine story and once again, thank you for supporting the Arts at East Pennsboro!
