    Mrs. Annette Taser

    Mrs. Taser earned her teaching credential from University of the Pacific with a double major in English and Theatre. She earned her Master's Degree in Dramatic Art from UC Davis. In addition, she studied acting and screen writing at the UCLA Academy of Visual and Performing Art, attended the High School Summer Institute at the Ashland Shakespeare Festival, and spent over ten years studying music and voice. Mrs. Taser earned a Hollywood Drama-Logue Award for acting for the role of Rachel in To Gillian on Her 37th Birthday, and appeared on stage in numerous plays and musicals. She can be heard the original cast albums for Metaphasia and Thumbalina. She performs at wineries, civic events and private parties as part of the band Frankie & Annette. Mrs.Taser taught elementary school for two years and high school at St. Mary's for three years prior to joining the faculty at East Union. This is her seventeenth year of teaching.

    Mr. Gary Fritzen

    Mr. Fritzen graduated from Long Beach State University with a BA in Choral/Vocal Music. He has over seventeen years of high school classroom experience teaching choir, guitar, piano, music appreciation and AP Music Theory. Under his direction, his students performed in Carnegie Hall, New York, Boston, Chicago, New Orleans and Seattle, worked with Grammy Award winning composers and earned 1st Place Gold in Choral Festivals. Additionally, Mr. Fritzen serves as an Adjunct Professor of Music for Santa Monica College, which debuted several of his original musical works including Alice and the Trials of Wonderland, Tibet, Uncle Vanya and Thumbalina. An award-winning playwright, Mr. Fritzen authored numerous musicals including Metaphasia and his newest, America 9-11, which debuted last month at the Utah Freedom Festival. He is currently completing the score for a ballet to accompany the publication of his first book "Little Twig of Thorns," available on Amazon.
