Mr. Gary Fritzen
Mr. Fritzen graduated from Long Beach State University with a BA in Choral/Vocal Music. He has over seventeen years of high school classroom experience teaching choir, guitar, piano, music appreciation and AP Music Theory. Under his direction, his students performed in Carnegie Hall, New York, Boston, Chicago, New Orleans and Seattle, worked with Grammy Award winning composers and earned 1st Place Gold in Choral Festivals. Additionally, Mr. Fritzen serves as an Adjunct Professor of Music for Santa Monica College, which debuted several of his original musical works including Alice and the Trials of Wonderland, Tibet, Uncle Vanya and Thumbalina. An award-winning playwright, Mr. Fritzen authored numerous musicals including Metaphasia and his newest, America 9-11, which debuted last month at the Utah Freedom Festival. He is currently completing the score for a ballet to accompany the publication of his first book "Little Twig of Thorns," available on Amazon.
