Welcome to Descendants the Musical!

Working hard and being creative is what Eastwood Middle School theatre is all about. Watching students have that "a-ha" moment makes all the long hours worth it. It has been amazing to see the students learn to paint and manage measuring lumber. The exciting thing about our students is that they are willing to pitch in wherever they are needed. Let’s give a standing ovation to our Eastwood student actors and the dedicated behind-the-scenes builders, painters, sound, lights, hair and makeup crew.

The theatre would not be possible without the support of our families, ensuring that our students attend practices, supplying snacks, and helping out wherever needed. The best-kept secret here at Eastwood is that children enjoy working side by side with a parent or an adult, even if they are not from the same family. Our students thrive on learning and collaborating together. This is the culture at Eastwood Middle School. Again, thank you to the families for all the support!

There are so many individuals we should recognize, but there are too many to mention. I am forever grateful for the support of the administration, Eastwood teachers, custodial staff, families, and the students involved in theatre at Eastwood. The partnership with Mrs. Darbro ensures that any bumps on the stage feel seamless. Thank you, Mrs. Darbro. It is truly an honor to teach and learn alongside the Eastwood Middle School community.
