    In his tenth year of musical theatre, John Celesky is thrilled to be bringing this story to life with you all. In these short 10 years, Celesky has been blessed to meet so many wonderful and incredible people who have helped shape him into the person he is today. He would like to dedicate this and all previous performances to date to you. He hopes that you never miss an opportunity to be your true and whole self. Thank you for being here and thank you for laughing, feeling, and creating with us.

    Michaela is thrilled to be performing as Fiona this summer! With Elkhorn Community Theatre, she previously played Evie in Descendants (OEAA Nominated) and a waitress/Dolly Parton Impersonator in The Wedding Singer. Her other previous roles include Wednesday Addams (NHSTA Finalist), Gabriella Montez, and Teen Fiona! She is so excited to perform in Shrek the Musical again on her high school stage 10 years later! Michaela is a first grade teacher, and in the summer she loves to perform with her ECT family, read books, and enjoy sushi. Lastly, Michaela would like to thank her friends and family for being so supportive! She hopes you enjoy the show!

    Elliot is beyond excited to be playing Donkey this summer—his very first show with Elkhorn Community Theatre! This role has been a dream of his forever, and he feels lucky to work with such an awesome cast and crew. Elliot holds an AA in the Performing Arts, a BA in Arts Management, and is currently pursuing his Master’s in Education and Leadership at Midland while serving as their Theatre Department’s Graduate Assistant. Some past roles of his include Angel (Rent), Principal McGowan (Heathers), and Ensemble/Dance Captain (The Wizard of Oz). Elliot enjoys running, spending time with family, working at Big Red Restaurant and Sports Bar, or taking a well-earned nap. A huge thank you to all of his friends, family, and coworkers who’ve listened to him talk about this show non-stop for months! Now let’s get stinky!
