A Note From the Director:
There are any number of cliches or phrases we could say about war. But while we often focus on the men (and now, women) who fight on the front lines, often times we forget about those who stay behind and help in the war effort through different means. These individuals: factory workers, wives and parents, and those who pick up the slack here at home, are also heroes in their own right. In this play, Don Zolidis gives those individuals agency and a voice, helping us as audience members understand and appreciate the sacrifices from all that go into the war effort.
