There were times I didn't actually think we would make it to perforamnce day. We have had to overcome so many obstacles during this school year. This play has been cast and recast and recast more than I can count, which has required the students to learn to be flexible and open to change. We have learned to roll with the punches together. THE SHOW MUST GO ON!
From the bottom of my heart, thank you to all my students for the hard work and hours put in to producing this play. I put a lot on you and you have all risen to the occasion. I told you the first day that we would be learning together and I think that is exactly what has happened. Thank you for being attentive to me as well, as we were forced to make one change after another. You were the ones reminding ME many times "it will be okay, we will figure it out." You have all made my life richer during this school year.
Thank you to my baby girls, Chloe and Lucia, for helping me see the magic in Frozen. I hope you enjoy this performance as much as I have enjoyed watching all of your Oscar-worthy living room performances.
Thank you to my husband, Mato, for being my greatest champion and steadfast friend. When my shoulders were slumped in defeat you reminded me that God goes before us. Thank you for always rooting for me and the students. I think I speak on behalf of everyone when I say we love you.
All my love,
Stacie Tobar
