 Cast & Crew Biographies 

Hailey Morey (Jo March) is thrilled to be making her Bakersfield debut here at The Empty Space. She is the Director of House of Music and Performing Arts. Recent roles include Polly Baker in Crazy for You and Eliza R. Snow in the Nauvoo Pageant. Her favorite role is that of mom to her two little men and trophy wife to Zack. She'd like to thank Abby, Adam, Skiby, Jolie, Bella and the Board of TES for this wonderful experience. And a big hug to her #1 fan and partner in crime, Zack. Carolyn Fox (Meg March) is honored to be a part of one of her favorite stories. She was recently seen as Lady Capulet in Romeo and Juliet at The Empty Space. Other roles include Chava (Fiddler on the Roof at Temple Beth El), Belle (Beauty and the Beast at Stars), and Cathy Hiatt (The Last Five Years with Hotspot Theatre). Carolyn would like to thank Abby for the opportunity and to her family (onstage and off) for their support.

 

Kara Coughenour (Beth March) is a student at Bakersfield College and a server at Tahoe Joe’s. Her recent roles include Elena in If/Then here at The Empty Space and Emily in Our Town at Bakersfield College. She would like to thank Abby, Jolie, Bella, Adam, and Skiby for putting together a beautiful show, Roger for making us look amazing, and the cast for being a part of this little family with her. FOREVER!

 

Sarah Wright(Young Amy) is a student at Norris Middle School. She is excited to appear in her first show at The Empty Space. Sarah has been acting since she was seven. Some of her favorite roles include Auntie Em in Wizard of Oz, Pugsley in The Addams Family, and Young Fiona in Shrek the Musical. She also enjoys singing around the community. Sarah would like to thank her family and for always supporting her love for theatre! She would also like to thank her cast and crew for allowing her to work with such amazing talent.

 

Victoria Lusk (Older Amy) is a member of the Board of Directors here at The Empty Space and a Pharmacy Technician student at SJVC. You may have seen her recently as Inga in Young Frankenstein, Little Becky Two-Shoes in Urinetown, and Matthias of Galilee in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot. Other favorite roles include Little Red Riding Hood in Into the Woods, Millie in Picnic, and Essie in You Can't Take It With You. She wants to thank Abby for giving her the opportunity to be a part of such an amazing little family.

 

Jennifer Prow (Marmee) is excited to join The Empty Space after having enjoyed so many shows there. Recent roles include Mother in Ragtime, Kate in Kiss Me, Kate, and Nellie in South Pacific all at Stars. She thanks Abby, the entire production team and cast for being so welcoming and fun. She would also like to thank her husband, Mark, and children, Lizzie and Spenser, for always being so supportive.

 

Tevin Joslen (Laurie) is so happy to be back at The Empty Space after a year hiatus.  He is so grateful to Abby and crew for letting him come back!  His last Empty Space shows include Rock of Ages(Lonny), You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown(Linus), and Cabaret(Emcee).  He was also Horatio in Hamlet at BC and Coalhouse Walker in Ragtime at Stars Dinner Theatre.  Tevin would like to thank the cast and crew for such a warm and welcoming experience.  He hopes you all enjoy the show!

 

Paul Sosa (Professor Bhaer) received his BA in Theatre Arts from CSUB in 2007. He has worked for the Entertainment Departments at The Disneyland Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood. Past performances here at The Empty Space include The Book of Liz, Young Frankenstein, The Woman in Black, In The Heights, Hay Fever, Wild Party, and Reefer Madness.
