Welcome to Encore’s official first fall play production! Oh yes, we have performed a few plays in the past 21 years of existence, but we have never offered both a spring musical and a fall play. Last year a group of students staged spot-on scenes and monologues to a live audience.

This year several of the production team were determined to have our kids experience a play. And what better way to satisfy an audience than an Agatha Christie “Who Dunnit?” A Murder is Announced is one-room, 12 actors, twisty plot, loud noises and great story-telling. Pay attention! Enough said.

Many thanks to Jennifer Feldser and the Hershey Area Playhouse for allowing Encore to perform in this perfect space. There are great challenges to perform anywhere these days and we are grateful that the Playhouse puts tremendous value on community and teaching young people life-giving lessons through theatre.

Despite setbacks and hardships, the cast and production team have pushed through to offer a classic and fun mystery. Kudos to a talented, persistent and hard-working group. As always, to God be the glory!
