Amy Spaulding-Heuring, Director
Amy returns to the Epiphany Players after a two-year hiatus to direct her 4th production of The Music Man. (Oregon Little Theatre 1987, Clay High School 1997, Black Swamp Players 2019).
The previous EP productions she directed were The Sound of Music (2022), Seussical—The Musical (2021), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (2018), Into the Woods and Guys and Dolls segments for Rags and Riches (2018), and Fiddler on the Roof (2016).
Other notable productions she has directed include: Sunday in the Park with George (Toledo Rep), Noises Off (Oregon Community Theatre), The 39 Steps (OCT), Captain of the Crossing Guards (Valentine Theatre), A Christmas Carol (Toledo Rep 2017), the Young Rep’s A Year with Frog and Toad, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Young Frankenstein, and Marvin’s Room with Madge Levinson (all with the Toledo Rep).
She was also the Clay High School drama director and Limelighters’ advisor from 1985-2008 and an arts educator for over 30 years. Amy is the Box Office Manager for the Valentine Theatre, Education Program Coordinator for the Toledo Opera, and on the board for Oregon Community Theatre.
She has thoroughly enjoyed returning to the Epiphany Players for this delightful show with such a gifted, wonderful cast and creative team in a supportive, caring community. Much love to Paul, Kirsten, Ann, Jenny, Kathy, and Jessica. For Mom and Madge, Gloria, Ron, and Bill.
