Hello friends, family, and fans of the show Schoolhouse Rock! 

We are delighted to have you with us for today’s performance! If you have gone your whole life thus far without hearing or being impacted by the songs of Schoolhouse Rock, then I would say, “Hello, my name is Evan, and welcome to the planet Earth!” No, but really, this show’s music has reached so many households and classrooms across the world and has become a household name. Especially if you grew up in the late 70s and early 80s. As an educator myself, I have found that one of the most effective ways to teach my students to memorize a “thing”, is to put that “thing” into a song. SHR LIVE puts all that in front of you today in a fantastic compilation of the top songs from this beloved TV show. This is not a sit-on-your-hands type of show either. It’s fully interactive and if one of these familiar tunes prompts you to sing and engage, we are here for it! You will laugh, you will shout, and even more so, you will walk away having learned something today. Today we follow the footsteps of a new teacher, Tom, who is about to start his first day. Can you be an encouragement to him as he puts all he has learned into forming his lesson plan? It would be great-“ly” (that’s an adverb) appreciated! Enjoy the Show!
