Mamma Mia! - October 23 - October 26, 2019

Farmersville H S

 Acknowledgements

A very special thanks goes out to the administrative staff of Farmersville High School, Junior High School and Administration offices.  The opportunity to be able to perform this musical for the community would not be possible without the guidance and support of the Farmersville ISD Staff.

Special thanks to Mr. Wayne Callaway, Farmersville High principal for putting up with Mr. G, Dr. Barboza, and Mrs. Ellis, and all of our crazy ideas.  And also for encouraging us to make this musical possible for our students.

Thank you to Mr. Garry Jameson for stepping in as an adjunct Theatre director on days when G, Barboza and Ellis couldn't be back to the school until 4:30pm or later.  And for giving us the support and encouragement to make this a great opportunity four our kids.

Thank you to Mr. Cole Ferrell for listening to G, Barboza and Ellis as we worked out what would be the best schedule, location, and situations for all the students involved and for extending his administrative duties to allow us to perform this musical.

And now for the parents!  I cannot thank any of you enough for the time, encouragement, and patience with G, Barboza, Ellis and your student.  Thank you to Somer Sass for helping with all the costuming, for being such a thrifty shopper and for your sewing machine.  Thank  you to Linda Long for her organization and keeping Mr. G from losing his mind at Old Time Saturday.  Thank you to the Hibbitts for Ice Cream, encouragement, support and mainly Ice Cream!  Thank you to the Cardons for coming in a fixing virtually everything on the stage that Mr. G and his students didn't put together right. Thank you to the Darlings for farm animals, movie night, and the pool! Thank you to Maria Castillo and Christi Orme for coming in and taking over the volunteering for the shows.

Special thanks to Tom Charles for his photography and for creating the posters for the show.  Thank you to Candy Deloratis for her lab, which we took over as our dressing room.  Thank you to Scott Cross for letting us turn his Band Hall into our sanctuary. Thank you to the athletic department for loaning us their sideline chairs for the VIP section.

Special thanks to David Hartman and his Construction Technology classes for helping build the set walls, and to Charles Marosek, his art classes and specifically Bella Wall for painting the mural and the mailbox.

A tremendous thank you to Mr. G's Theatre classes and AV Production classes for volunteering during class to help with set, costuming, audio and lighting.

Thank you to our janitorial staff for cleaning up after our crazy rehearsals and shows, and for not kicking Mr. G out when he stayed at the school until well past midnight (especially show week!).

Thank you to Brittany Douglas and her Horticulture classes for creating the flower arrangements for sale, and helping with the flowers on stage.
