Hi! My name is Leo Wilkie and I’m a young queer artist from Grifton NC, ever since I was a sticky toddler I’ve been into theatre and acting. My most recent shows were Hallelujah Girls, 10 Ways to Survive Quarantine, and FBC: The Musical! Outside of theatre, I enjoy skating, writing, soccer, and talking to my amazing girlfriend. I don’t know what I’d do with myself if I didn’t have theatre and an amazing cast to lean on. Thanks to all my family, friends, and you for coming to the show! I hope you enjoy!

I am so excited to be getting involved with Farmville Community theatre. My husband, daughter, and I moved here to town about two years ago and we thoroughly enjoy it here. Some of my favorite roles from the past include Waitress #1 in Rock and Ages and Molly in Peter and the Starcatcher. I was most recently seen in action here in Farmville as the dancing ghost in the Ghost Walk. I hope you all enjoy the show and experience Truvy’s favorite emotion- “laughter through tears.”

My venture as Clairee has been a fun new challenge with a wonderful cast and crew!  This is my third experience performing in Steel Magnolias, the first two times playing the role of Truvy.  I've served on the Board of Directors for Magnolia Arts Center since 2015, having previously served as President.  When not doing theatre, I work part time at Cypress Glen, while pursuing a PhD in Psychology.  I also volunteer with the Service League of Greenville. As a published author of Broken Sand Dollar ~ Finding the Missing Peace, I'm in the process of adapting the storyline to script and screen for the Lifetime Channel. My husband, Matt, and I live in Greenville with our two rescue dogs, Teach and Howard.
