 Who's Who

    as Shelby Eatenton-Latcherie

I am thrilled for my first performance with FCAC! Having 15 years of theatre experience, my favorite previous roles include Florence Unger in Magnolia Arts Center's "The Odd Couple." Glinda the Good Witch in Playhouse of Wilson's "The Wizard of Oz," and Rose Ritz in Arts of the Pamlico's "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change." I am a Marketing Manager by day, and in my free time I enjoy performing, painting, singing, tending to my houseplants, and wandering off the beaten path with my husband and our two dogs. I want to thank my family and friends for their constant support, as well as all patrons of the arts for keeping community theatre alive. I would also like to dedicate this performance to my late grandmother, Lois Rowe, who taught me what it means to be a "Steel Magnolia."

    as M'Lynn Eatenton

What a privilege to grow up in the Farmville Community and see how this town is blossoming into its own! I have participated both onstage and backstage in several performances here at FCAC and Barton College. The role of M'Lynn is providing me the opportunity to not only channel the most beautiful parts of my mother, but also to  heal from the loss of the true Queen of Pink and Sparkle, my sister, Melissa. This story shows that family can come in all forms, and the love and support of friends is one of the most important gifts we are given. For my 2 Shelby's -Melissa and Elizabeth and my M'Lynn - Mama Eunice - enjoy the show from the VIP seats and to my tribe, a special thank you and never lose your sparkle!

    A'me Savarino

    as Ouiser Boudreaux

Born and raised in Texas. At 21, I moved to California, lived there 21 years, and now have 11 more years to reach the 21 year goal in North Carolina. Playing Ouiser is a dream come true, due to Cruella Da Vil being my favorite Disney Princess! When I was a teenager, my mom and I would play fight and loudly insult each other in the grocery store for a good time. So this role feels like coming home. But by far the most gratifying role I have ever had is being mom to Jude and Cam.
