In Fayette Academy’s production of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens we decided to add a feature never before seen in a Fayette Academy production… a student director. Hi! My name is Caroline Donnelly and I am so excited to share this story with you. We have worked very hard rehearsing and preparing this performance for our audiences. While putting this show together we studied about the Victorian Era in London. We researched many different aspects of this era. Some include: living situations, social classes, hairstyles and clothing. We decided to twist some of the elements of this Christmas classic to our own taste to keep the audience on their toes. This show is our first play with the new performance theater class. I am so proud of my classmates for being  on top of things with this show and always being willing to help. I also appreciate them allowing me to direct and help them along with their theater experience. As a senior it is very emotional to be helping the underclassmen grow just as the seniors in the past helped me. I hope to have the opportunity to come back and see everyone’s successes. Now that I have had the opportunity to introduce myself and the elements of this production I hope that you all enjoy this wonderful show!
