Stephanie Fico Carter

Stephanie is excited and honored to be a part of Perchance to Dream, her fourth appearance as a chorus member in a FNBD theatrical production! She lives in Opelika with her husband Andy and their assorted fur babies. Stephanie is an enthusiastic student of both Arianna and Genevieve. In addition to belly dancing, she enjoys paper crafting, traveling and cooking.

Charlotte Davis
Charlotte is a belly dance enthusiast who began her dance journey in June 2017 with Genevieve. Under the instruction of both Genevieve and Arianna, Charlotte has practiced the art of belly dance in a manifestation of multiple styles, including Raqs Assaya, Raqs Baladi and Tribal Fusion. Charlotte is married with three dogs and enjoys drinking coffee, ketogenic cooking, reading and practicing violin.

Selam Menghisteab
Selam loves dancing to a variety of music. She has been studying the art of belly dancing for six years. She continues growing in the art by taking classes with Arianna and Genevieve. She also enjoys dancing various Eritrean, Ethiopian and Latin dances. She is grateful for the friendships, sisterhood and community that belly dance provides her.

Beth White
Beth began her bellydance journey at eight months along with her daughter, after being entranced by the rhythm at a local drum circle. She has been taking lessons with Genevieve since 2017 and recently performed her first solo piece. She has a strong passion for dance meditation and loves to share the practice with her 2 year old (a budding little dancer herself!). You'll often find Beth grooving along in the kitchen while attempting a new culinary experiment or in her more natural habitat...lost the woods.
